She completed residency training in Family Medicine at St. John's Oakland-Macomb in Detroit, Michigan. During residency she coordinated and staffed an urgent care clinic for 2 years.
She and her husband moved to Eugene, Oregon after graduation and have enjoyed building a family with 3 young children. Interests outside of medicine include hiking, art, baking and traveling.
Dr. Sanders has served on the Lane County Medical Society as a board member for the past 5 years, promoting collaboration and support for Lane county community's health and physicians.
